They were huge and looked really cool! Even their names are cool!
We love dinosaurs so much that we decided to write a couple of things about our favourite ones!
Dinosaurs are the craziest animals that have ever lived on Earth!

One of the worst things during the day is the time you have to spend on public transport on your way to work, school or uni. We feel the need to help you out because we are in this together! A war against boredom!
Proper winter weather is here, so rainy and windy it causes you numbness on your face. So if you can’t enjoy your day off because of the bad weather and you’re home alone, here are a few things to do to make you feel better!
It was about time they made a new album! Following a small break (which was revealed this year by the band’s frontman Alex Kapranos) FF are back with the amazing “Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action”. So, it was also about time that we wrote something about them too! Here, you can read 8 reasons why we love Franz Ferdinand! 1. They make incredibly catchy songs with great melodies. It’s hard not to fall in love with any FF song. From the legendary “Take Me Out” riff that gets stuck in your mind forever to their new single, "Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action" chorus. 2. They don’t exaggerate on instrumentation. You will never hear any “noreasontobethere” guitar solo. Magic moments in music usually come from “keeping it simple” songs! 3. They have a great sense of style. We have seen many bands and artists failing tragically while trying to be cool. Franz Ferdinand have always been well dressed, drinking classy red wine and singing about it. Perfection! 4. They haven’t made a bad record! Most of the modern indie bands fail to follow up their over-hyped debuts. The worst thing is, that most of the time these bands make records that are not even bad, they just have no reason being on the record shop’s self! That has never happened for Alex Kapranos and Co. They always take the time to write new material and they don’t just release records just for the sake of it. 5. They make extremely arty and amazing video clips. Especially their new ones are pieces of art on their own! 6. Their live shows are full of energy and fun! If you have attended a FF show, you know what we are talking about. 7. Cover art on their releases is ART! 8. Last but not least. There is a great chance that they are the best band in the world right now! Mr. Raccoon had his birthday last week, so we came up with a cheap and fun solution in order to celebrate. “Birthday on the Beach”. If you are lucky enough to be living near the beach, there is no better way to celebrate than inviting everyone for a beach party and night swimming!
We love burgers and we sure love art so, those two combined is one of the best things in life! We tried to remember and write down a couple of things about some of our favourite burger moments in music, cinema, T.V. e.t.c.
We recently returned from a trip, had a wonderful time but unfortunatelly on the way home we started getting sick ending up with high fever by the time we were home. So, we decided to make a small list of 5 things to do when you’re sick and lonely. Hope it helps!
I will write about this as if it was a “real” album because that’s how much I love it!!! I hadn’t heard such a good LO-FI “album” since Harlem released “Hippies” and before that my last favourite LO-FI album was “Who will cut our hair when we’re gone?” by The Unicorns. Teen Suicide is one of those bands that makes you guess how they were formed. In my mind they are from a small town or from a boring city and they had nothing better to do than form an indie/punk band. I don’t care if I am correct or not, all I care is that when I listen to this compilation of rare recordings I feel like a teenager again. I feel like getting drunk, I feel like doing nothing and I feel that I can change the world! Then the record ends and it’s time to start it again, on my headphones this time, go out and start running like crazy for no reason at all! Like a friend of mine said “They scratch their guitars just like adrenaline rushes in the veins of a teenager!" (Not the animated ones. We know the list is too small, but we wrote down the most significant 90s movies for us) 1. Mrs Doubtfire - 1993 Robin Williams, who else? Do I even need to mention Flubber, Jumanji, Bicentennial Man? …I thought so. 2. Home Alone - 1990 One word for this one: Christmas. 3. Jurassic Park - 1993 A park full of Dinosaurs and Newman from “Seinfeld” ! What else do you need? +some really cool jeeps 4. Matilda - 1996 I still have the tape I recorded back then with this movie, I used to watch it every day. 5. My Girl - 1991 “Till death do us part” for kids! 6. Ernest Movies - 1986-1998Started out as a T.V. commercial campaign character for hundrents of local T.V. commercials but later achieved superstardom when he started making movies! Ernest P. Worrel was one of my favourite 90’s characters. R.I.P. Jim Varney we miss you! 7. Batman Returns - 1992 Catwoman might be the villain of the movie, but she sure made the film more interesting for girls. And Penguin. I remember I was quite scared everytime he showed his teeth. 8. Junior - 1994 Messed with our heads a bit when we were kids… 9. Dumb & Dumber - 1994 A sheep dog van, a dead parrot, a worm farm, some ulcer pills, Aspen, Jim Carey’s and Jeff Daniels’ humor combined and BAM! You got yourself an awesome movie. 10. National Lampoon’s Vacation - (Film Series) - 1983-1997 Yean, I know, some of them were not made during the 90’s, but can someone forget opening Christmas presents while watching “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” on the telly? N. & A. x

Thee ahs are a four piece band from Vancouver that consists of 3 girls and one boy which is a nice combination.I found out about them in 2011 when they released their debut album “Thee Ahs Nation”, an album full of indie pop energy with a small twist of punk rock. They sounded like a fresh version of The Moldy Peaches which is always a cool thing if you love your D.I.Y.. Well, 2013 finds the band releasing their second album entitled “Future Without Her”. I was surprised to hear the progress that they have made since their last release! Let’s start from the songwriting, in this area Thee Ahs have made the biggest progress, they have kept the nice indie pop melodies but have added some small noisy moments that take their songs to another level! Take the song “Alice” for example where the mood changes from verse to chorus. Lyrically they have focused almost at the same subjects which is not a bad thing. Another nice surprise was how better they seem to have gotten at playing/recording their instruments and vocals. “Future Without Her” is a record to be heard non stop from first to last song. My personal favourites are “Our Town” and “Wonka Pump” with the latter reminding me of 40’s girl bands like the Andrews Sisters. So, if you enjoy the sounds of Jonathan Richman, The moldy peaches, The softies and Allo Darlin I am pretty sure that you will love thee Ahs! You can download or buy both of their albums here:
